Job Summary

The Project Coordinator, with support from the Program and Network Lead is responsible for the day-to-day WASH coordination around the planning and implementation of activities under the project in Otuke District.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

General:

• Support needs assessments, project reviews, and post-project impact assessments as needed and advised.
• Actively participate in preparation of proposals and budget development jointly with the project team members.
• Produce detail implementation plan for the project.
• Periodically, update and ensure that progress in accordance with the plan.

Reporting:

• Provide inputs to implementation plans and activity/monthly/ Quarterly and Annual reports.
• Identify, document lessons learned and best practices with support of the M&E Officer. Prepare and submit well written success stories.
• Representation and coordination with relevant partners in Otuke district context on issues around WASH.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience of data analysis software (Kobo Collect, M-Water and SPSS) is an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal.
• Proficiency in the local language (Lango) is added advantage.
• Motivated to work independently / self-managing.
• Computer (Ms Excel and Ms Word).
• Self-motivator, able to take initiatives with limited supervision.
• Ability to drive a motorcycle with valid driving/riding license is a MUST.
