Role: Manager- Mobile Money

Job Location: Kampala

Responsibilities

1.     Defining and implementing the Mobile Money Services as per the strategic and financial objectives of the group

2.     Continuous improvement of operational performance to meet consumer satisfaction and the overall business strategy.

3.     Provide overall direction for Mobile money Services by analysing changes in the competitive landscape, analysing trends, costs, forecasts

4.     Identify business systems challenges, evaluates business requirements, and recommends appropriate technology-based solutions

1. Reporting (Periodic, Regulatory & ad-hoc) for all relevant activities, trends, revenues and costs in the mobile money structure
2. Responsible for the business requirement, low- and high-level solution design documentations with version controls
3. Keeps track of the new and emerging technology business initiatives and best practices implemented globally and adapts the same.
4. Ensures accountability for the solution estimates, sourcing, costing, and delivery model in coordination with responsible workgroups
5. (internal & external).
6. Maintenance & administration of mobile money platform and network
7. Manage channel operations and agent management for Mobile Money business
8. Manage internal and external audits
9. Responsible for organising and obtaining GSMA Mobile Money certification
10. Point of contact for the external authorities- Mobile Money
11. Manage KYC, Fraud Management and Revenue Assurance by liaising with the group heads

Experience: Minimum 6-8 years of experience in manging mobile money platform for any of the reputed telecom operator in Africa or Uganda in specific will be an added advantage.
