Minimum Qualification Applicants should be Ugandans in possession of a Higher Diploma in Laboratory Technology; or Geological/Geochemical Sciences; or any other related discipline from a recognized University / Institution. Working Experience Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Principal Laboratory Technician for performing the following duties:-

• Maintaining and servicing of laboratory equipment;
• Training Laboratory Technicians in the Department;
• Advising on the acquisition of new advanced technologies in the industry;
• Preparing of geochemical samples for analysis;
• Reviewing quality control and technical service mechanisms used by oil companies;
• Analyzing geochemical and bio stratigraphic data;
• Participating in field sampling/survey programs;
• Managing and archiving of Geochemical data;
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
