To achieve assigned individual daily, monthly/annual targets and KPIs with specific focus on the assigned segments/operators while meeting their key needs. This shall be assessed in accordance with the number of field visits per day and the number of phone calls made between the client and the FAE. The Employee’s metric of success shall be the percentage of problems resolved at the client site and the number of field service tasks closed by the FAE per day.

Conduct Research

• The Field Application Engineer (FAE) Shall carry out research to identify problems with the company Systems and develop appropriate solutions for them.
• Understand customer requirements and accordingly recommend the right services.
• Understand technical problems effectively through proper analysis and evaluation.

Maintain Equipment

• Oversee the maintenance of different types of hardware used in the deployment of the company systems at the client site, as well as infrastructure related to the industry.
• Perform maintenance and service tasks for customers in the assigned area.
• Collaborate closely with the company clients and management to resolve technical issues.

Install New Technologies

• The FAE shall be responsible for installing new and more advanced technologies/modules of the company as per the requirements and the needs of KaCyber clients.
• Manage all on-site installations, repair, maintenance works, and conduct customer demonstrations where necessary.

Test hardware and software

• The FAE shall test both hardware infrastructure and software before their installation at the Client site to check their performance and safety and evaluate whether they meet agreed compliance standards.
• Inspect and test material and machinery for safety

Create Reports

• The FAE shall maintain reports of their work that are handed to their supervisor and management, as well as anyone else related to the project. These reports will keep track of progress and any issues that halt progression.
• Document the issues and solutions which will be helpful in the future.

Providing Support to company clients and the sales team 

• Provide training to customer staff on how to use the product, identify issues and repairs.
• Provide technical support to the sales team.
• Support staff with equipment set-up for trade shows and exhibitions.
• Prepare presentations for sales meetings or training.
• Build positive relationships with clients by providing outstanding services.
• Respond to customer complaints timely and effectively to meet sales goals.
