The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) is established as a Statutory Body under the Uganda Registration Services Bureau Act Cap. 210.
The Bureau is a key player in Commercial, Civil and Intellectual Property Rights Registration that facilitate private sector development and vital statistics for national planning.
The Uganda Registration Services Bureau seeks to recruit suitably qualified, competent, and experienced professionals to fill vacant position.
Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
Reports to: Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation
Job Purpose
To carry out monitoring and evaluation of URSB operations, programs and activities .

Key Responsibilities & Duties
• Maintains the M&E system and tracks of indicators.
• Retrieves and analyses data from the management information systems and writes reports for management use in decision making
• Supports the process of defining, developing and revising the Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) systems as it applies to URSB.
• Builds capacity of team and Implementing Partners on M&E tools, analysis, data management and reporting in the URSB management systems.
• Supports the IT department with technical assistance when called upon.
• Monitors and evaluates projects and writes reports to Unit heads.
• Supports management in writing performance reports to the development partners.
• Advises on manual data management like file naming, data to be filled and open up files for all Implementing Partners.
• Performs any other duties as maybe assigned from time to time by the Senior-Planner(M&E)

Person Specifications
• An Honours Degree in: Statistics or Economics or Development Studies or a related field from a recognized institution
• Analytical skills
• Ability to work independently.
