Job Description
Position & Grade: B2B Supervisor
Requirement: (1)
Reports to: B2B Manager
Summary Role:
The B2B supervisor implements the sales strategies within institutions, Hospitality industry, corporate organizations & Government Parastatals through direct selling, bidding & tendering, with in Uganda to ensure the growth of corporate sales and target achievement. .
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• To ensure that bids and tenders, in line to MPL’s business interests are worked on in time, submitted and followed up to for business closure.
• To develop business growth & development sales ‘ strategies geared towards growing MPL’s corporate segment of Business to Business. (B2B)
• To ensure closure of generated sale leads from the Hospitality Industry, corporate organizations
Government & Private Institutions.
• To identify, build and ensure successful strategic partnerships so as to create sustainable sales
Business growth & Development.
• To manage order processing and ensure that products are delivered in time.
• To Ensure that the M.O. Us between MPL & its corporate Business Partners are discussed and signed off.
• To develop corporate business presentations that can be presented to corporate customers where necessary.
• Submission of a monthly market intelligence report on Key Supermarkets, Hospitality industry, Institutions & Corporate Organizations.
• Manage and secure system sales reports from B2B corporate clients then advise on the sales & marketing interventions needed to grow sales in Key big accounts, & Corporate segment.
• Manage the relationship of B2B customers and ensure customer satisfaction at all times
• Supervise and coach institutions sales executives to ensure they perform their role to
• Ensure distribution efficiency and effectiveness to achieve both weighted and numeric distribution in Key Supermarkets.
• Ensure sales growth by SKUs & the segments especially in institutions, Key Supermarkets & Hospitality (Hotels).
• Monitor distributor B2B sales providing support for their day-to-day activities and target achievement.
• Follow up of customized orders and ensure timely processing and dispatch.
• Follow up of key account/B2B debts and ensure timely settlement of outstanding accounts.
• Submission of a daily corporate (B2B) sales report.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• The ideal candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in a Business-related field of study from a recognized university.
• Experience in business Proposal writing, sales strategic development plans
• Bidding & Tendering for Private & Public institutions.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills with a high demonstrable level of integrity.
• Experience in corporate Sales management of FMCG. (B2B)
• Experience in Corporate sales and Marketing.
• A minimum of Four (4) years’ relevant work experience in FMCG sales and distribution setting.
• Membership to Chartered Institute of Management is an added advantage.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and numerical skills with a strong business acumen
• Ability to independently plan and execute complex tasks while addressing daily management details and remaining organized and focused.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimum or no supervision
• Ability to assess problems and develop solutions.
