Minimum Qualification
• Applicants should be Ugandans in possession of an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in either Electronic Engineering; or Electrical Engineering; or Telecommunications Engineering; or Communications Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior ICT Infrastructure Engineer for performing the following duties:
• Prescribing appropriate radio frequency engineering characteristics for ICT infrastructure developments in the country;
• Participating in surveys to determine coverage and quality of communications infrastructure and services;
• Carrying out spot check inspection on Electro Motive Force (EMF) emissions from masts and such other related apparatus to inform policy decisions;
• Participating in development and reviewing of spectrum related policies, laws and strategies;
• Participating in monitoring and evaluation of the Communications and Postal subsector services;
• Participating in development of enabling laws and regulations for the ICT infrastructure development or improvement;
• Ensuring Ministries, Departments, Agencies and Local Governments have in place optimally running ICT infrastructure networks;
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
