Sim Plastics (U) Ltd is a plastics manufacturing company dealing in the production of different shapes of plastic containers mainly supplied to our sister company Movit Products Ltd.
The company is seeking to recruit a highly competent, motivated, and professional individual to fill the position of Accountant.

Job Summary:
The Role Supports financial decision-making by collecting, interrogating, analyzing and reporting relevant financial information. The role holder shall be responsible for running
the accounting and financial functions in Finance Department by analyzing the economic stability of the company and provide financial information to other departments for budgeting and investment decisions.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Timely recording of financial transactions and Maintaining account information in
adherence to the Laid down Company Policies.
• Prepare monthly management reports including Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss
Statement, and Cash flow statements, and conduct periodic analysis of the same.
• Prepare, submit and file tax returns and reconciliation of all Tax Related Ledgers.
• Providing tax planning advice with reference to current tax legislation, as well as tax
issues associated with business operations.
• Maintain accounting controls by designing and implementing policies and procedures.
• Prepare and review Quarterly Financial forecasting and risk analysis.
• Maintain and continuously update all employees’ Muster payroll.
• Monitor performance against budgets to ensure all exceptions and variances are
explained and duly approved by the management. provide analysis reports to aid
decision-making on budget reallocations and redirections where necessary.
• Plan and Conduct External Audit Functions in conjunction with the Finance and
Administration Manager.
• Supervise and support the Accounts Assistants in carrying out their departmental
roles.
• Carry out other duties as may be assigned by management

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
• Should have a University degree in Commerce, Business Administration and
Management, Economics or related field
● Should be a qualified Accountant with ACCA, CPA, or similar certification
● 3 Years professional experience in accounting and financial management.
● Good computer skills and knowledge of accounting packages
