St. Mary’s Hospital Lacor is a private, non-profit Ugandan hospital, whose mission is to guarantee affordable medical services, especially to the most needy.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare payments, including obtaining signature
• Record bank transactions on NAV (double check the cashbook of accounting)
• File and audit all the documents of the bank including procurement and accounting docs)
• Keenly verify that the balance of Receivables and Payables on NAV are consistent (double check with School, billing and procurement files)

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The Accountant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a bias in Accounting from a recognized Institution
• Good knowledge of Dynamics NAV
• Good knowledge of accounting principles
• Work-centred commitment
• Possess keen attention to detail
• Good team player willing and able to work in harmony with others
• Willingness to learn, be corrected and supervised
• An honest person with high sense of integrity
• Exercise maturity and sound judgement based on facts rather than emotions
