PATHFINDER
USAID/Uganda Family Planning Activity (FPA)
Overview:
Pathfinder International was awarded a five-year Family Planning Activity (FPA) by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). As a lead implementing agency, Pathfinder with partners will play a catalytic role in increasing access to modern contraception and reducing the unmet need for voluntary family planning services in Uganda.

Intermediate Result Areas:
The FPA’s three Intermediate Result areas (IRs) are; Uganda leadership and coordination strengthened to support FPA, Positive social norms and behaviors enhanced to improve healthy timing and spacing of pregnancies, and access to quality FP increased; will be implemented in 11 districts with three cluster offices in Masindi covering Kiryandongo, Bulissa and Kyankwanzi, Fortportal Cluster covering Kyegegwa, Kyenjojo, Kibale, Ntoroko, and Bundibugyo; Masaka Cluster covering Gomba and Rakai districts with head office in Kampala overseeing all but covering Butambala.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual for the following position:
Administration Officer (01)
Based in: Kampala

Key accountabilities:
The Administrative Officer is based at the Kampala Office. Under the general supervision of the Director Finance & Operations, the Administrative Officer will be responsible for the day to day functioning of the Office. S/he ensures that all administrative systems inclusive of Procurement, Asset Management and Facilities Management are conducted according to all regulations, standard operating procedures and good business practices of Pathfinder. S/he will also supervise the Administrative Assistant.

Minimum Requirements:
• University Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Sciences.
• Post Graduate Diploma in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of years 3 of experience working with INGO
• Knowledge and experience working with USAID funded programs
• Familiarity with the current Procurement
• Assets and Facilities Management principles and practices
• Excellent Inter-personal skills, and
• Ability to maintain strong working relationship with all staff at the Headquarters and the Cluster Offices.
