Administrative Secretary
Job Purpose
Provide administrative and secretarial services to the Unit

Key, Duties and Responsibilities
1. Provide secretarial services;
2. Receive and attend to all incoming and outgoing mails;
3. Receive and answer all telephone calls;
4. Maintaining the filing system in the Unit;
5. Supervise the cleaning and arrangement of the Centre;
6. Provide custody of stationary and office equipment for the office;
7. Supervise support staff;
8. Perform any other related duties assigned by the Head of the Unit.

Required Qualifications
Either Diploma in Secretarial Studies or Office Management from a recognized Institution.
Or UNEB Certificate stages 1, 11 &111 or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.

Skills/Competences
1. Ability to handle clients in a courteous manner;
2. A team player with a good interpersonal manner;
3. Good communication skills;
4. Proficiency in using MS Office with a typing speed of at least 40wpm;
5. Time management.

Tenure of Appointment 4 years
