JOB DETAILS:

Makerere University Directorate of Human Resources invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for positions at the University. Applicants should not exceed 50 years of age

Duties/Responsibilities

• Teaching, examining and grading students at both Graduate and Undergraduate level.
• Supervision research for Undergraduate and Graduate Students.
• Conducting research and community outreach activities.
• Writing proposals for attracting funding to the Department.
• Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department

Qualifications

• Master in Film Studies.
• Minimum of an Upper Second Bachelor’s degree in Drama and Film or BA in mass Communication with courses in cinematography, editing, screenwriting and directing from a recognized Institution.
• Experience in teaching film and execution of projects in film is an added advantage.
