Job Purpose
Ensure the day-to-day accounting activities of the department run smoothly

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare daily/weekly/ monthly projected and actual Cash Flow
• Daily Fund utilization report
• Posting of payroll journal entry
• Exchange Rate negotiation with bank
• Entries and filing of documents for hedging transactions
• Check online payment in Internet banking before getting approval
• Ensure WTH has been calculated and deducted before making payment
• Assist in negotiation with Banks/DFI for getting adequate funds for the company
• Track LC payment/ sale against LC/ BG received or given
• Follow approved SOPs and any deviation should be approved by CEO + Chairman + Grp CFO
• Coordinate with Other Dept Head on payment plan
• Follow up with Sale team on receivables
• Monitoring of aged Advances/ aged payables
• Loan Interest calculation and recording of Int. accounting entry in accounting system
• Board resolutions regarding change in signatories
• Ensure statutory compliance by filing VAT, PAYE, NSSF and IT returns as and when required in a timely manner and accurately.
• Preparation of Advance to suppliers, loans & advances, receivables, security deposits, other assets
• Assist in Debtors and Suppliers reconciliation (as requested by Finance Controller)
• Entries and filing of documents for hedging transactions
• Preparation and approval of payment schedules of suppliers

Education and Professional Qualifications
Degree in accounts or finance related course

Work Experience
At least 5 years in a Corporate Finance and Treasury.
