Job Description
Background:
Kenrom Chemicals Limited deals in production and supply of Industrial cleaning chemicals and started its operations in 2016 with small scale production that has now grown to include a wide range of Products that are supplied to the Company’s major customers and new clients. Kenrom Chemicals Limited therefore needs an energetic, goal oriented and interested person to take up a position of Assistant Quality Personnel.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
The best candidate is required to have a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Chemistry and working experience of two years.
Skills set:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. . Good technical skills.
Good social skills. Customer focus capability.
Job summary:
Ensure good quality of Products and check the quality of the raw materials to achieve this including checking for other factors that can affect the good quality of production, ensure timely production and ensure customer products specifications are met.
Key Roles and responsibilities:
• Work together with the QHSE Coordinator to assess Product problems and brainstorm solutions.
• Check that raw materials or components involved in the production process are of suitable quality through writing and reviewing testing plans.
• Inspect the Production area to check for any aspects that could affect the production process to run smoothly
• Write production plans that minimize risks of non-conformity during production.
• Estimate time involved in assuring each Product’s quality.
• Ensure that the Product specifications set by Customers are met.
• Assess whether employees need training to prevent non-conforming actions during production.
• Ensure timely production process to meet Customer demands.
• Suggest improvements to company infrastructure and processes to prevent future non-conformities during production.
• Ensure Quality Control to existing defects and prevent these in future products.
• Communicate with other departments such as project management and engineering to coordinate scheduling for QA testing.
• Report discovered defects in Company processes that could affect quality of service to Customers to all relevant departments for correction.
• Conform to regulations and international standards when it comes to testing and quality assurance.
