Job Description


As our Roofings ‘brand guardian’, you need to maintain brand integrity across all company activities initiatives and communications. It is your role to adapt a brand strategy for our target market. .

Job responsibilities
• Brand strategy, including the setting of style guides, brand guidelines, brand vision and value proposition for short -mid as well as long term
• Manage the departmental budget as well as the sales generated from it
• Manage the team and the strategies focusing on the branding departmental KPI’s including advertising / PR & events / CSR locally and export
• Working with the team, clients and ad agencies to establish and meet project goals in a SMART way
Specific – Measurable – Attainable -Relevant – Timeframe
• Continue to update yourself on latest trends and communication technologies
• Manage the brand reputation and visibility while reaching a larger audience and creating mutual beneficial relationships with the public
• Planning and execution of all communications and media actions on all channels, including online and social media
• Creating and managing promotional collateral to establish and maintain product branding
• Setting up and managing campaigns and other marketing activities
• Competitor and customer insights analysis
• Informing and influencing our customers as well as the influencers
• Acquiring yourself with the company’s information systems / policy’s and procedure included but not limited to SAPand 3CX webclient
• Adhere to the values and policies of the company
• Brand intellectual property management and avoidance of plagiarism of our content
• Manage corporate and charity events as well as sponsorships

• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• An understanding of trends and an ability to respond to customers wishes
• Creativity and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas
• The ability to allocate and manage budgets
• Highly written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with and an understanding of market research
• Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
• An ability to think strategically and come up with campaigns
• High level of decision-making and delegation
• Problem solving and motivating
• People management skill

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
• The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field;
• A minimum of five years of progressive work experience at Managerial level in a similar role
• A relevant Master’s degree will be an added advantage
