Role Purpose:

We are looking for energetic, well-connected Community Ambassadors to lead our recruitment drive in the Busoga region (Jinja, Kamuli). Your mission is to identify, vet, and mobilize high-potential early-stage entrepreneurs running circular and green businesses. You will ensure that the most innovative “green” talent in your district is represented in our upcoming incubation program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify 50+ entrepreneurs specifically in the circular economy (e.g., waste-to-value, sustainable agri-processing, clean energy, eco-friendly packaging).
• Provide hands-on support to ensure at least 50 high-quality, completed applications are submitted via the program portal.
• Ensure all applicants meet the basic eligibility criteria (e.g., age, business stage, and location).
• Submit a weekly progress report every Friday detailing community engagements and registration numbers.

Payment structure

The Ambassador role is a performance-based position. Successful candidates will receive a combination of guaranteed facilitation and success-based incentives:

• Base retainer – 400,000 UGX (Paid at the end of the one-month outreach period).
• Field facilitation – 200,000 UGX (Allocated for transport, fuel, and airtime/data).
• Performance bonus – 20,000 UGX for every entrepreneur from your assigned district who is successfully selected and enrolled into the incubation program.
• Earnings potential – An ambassador who successfully mobilizes a full cohort (20 participants) can earn a total of 1,000,000 UGX for the month.

Terms and conditions

• This program is FREE for all entrepreneurs. Ambassadors are strictly prohibited from charging any fees for application forms, “consultation,” or “guaranteed selection.” Any ambassador found soliciting money from entrepreneurs will be summarily dismissed and will forfeit all pending payments.
• The Performance bonus is paid only for candidates who pass the final selection committee and are admitted into the program.
• The ambassador is expected to focus on the assigned districts (Busoga) for the duration of the one-month sprint.
• Any evidence of ghost-writing applications or registering non-existent businesses will lead to immediate disqualification and forfeiture of payment.
