Action Against Hunger currently supports refugees and host communities in Adjumani, Yumbe, Kiryandongo and Kikuube Districts by aligning our support with development plans in relation to nutrition, WASH, Food Security, Livelihoods and health interventions. Action Against Hunger utilizes innovative, evidence-based practices to build community and household resilience and self-reliance, while improving the quality of government services by using sustainable approaches to reduce hunger and malnutrition.

Job title: 4 Community WASH Officer – Nakivale
The Officer is in charge of planning and rolling out WASH behavioral change activities, community mobilization and sensitisation of targeted beneficiaries on Hygiene and sanitation activities in the settlement in collaboration with the team and under management of the Program Manager. S/he will also take lead on providing overall technical and programmatic support for the planning, implementation, management, and monitoring of E-Voucher interventions and cash based transfers in coordination with the PM. The Officer will directly supervise the Community Based Facilitators.
