Job Title: Content Specialist
Location: Kampala
Reports to: Marketing, PR and Winner Services Manager.

Job Description:
The job holder will be responsible for creating and delivering high-quality content design and social media solutions that have highly impactful content and visually appealing designs that effectively communicate the brand’s message, engage the target audience, maintain brand consistency, and drive desired actions and results in alignment with the organisation’s marketing and communications objectives.

Content Specialist with Graphic Designer responsibilities encompasses consistent branding, enhanced visual communication, increased user engagement, improved content performance, and efficient workflow and collaboration

Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversees all outgoing visual content to ensure that design principles and elements have been applied, considering variety and consistency within the content context.
• Partner with the Marketing, PR and Winner Services Manager on the overall brand image, marketing efforts, and customer engagement. This is key to increasing client/customer loyalty, which impacts revenue and overall profitability.
• Participate in the analysis and scoping, content management, Design and Development, Quality and Service Delivery.
• Creating and implementing efficient content production processes to ensure maximum productivity and consistently high content quality.
• Proofreading and editing content before publishing.
• Any other responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Experience Required:
• Atleast 3 years of industry experience
• Portfolio must be submitted as part of the application, showcasing a variety of styles and deliverables, as a means to measure quality consistency and proficiency in below listed software.
• Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, After Effects and InDesign
• Microsoft office (Powepoint, Excel, Word and Outlook)
• 3+ years of advanced skills using the Adobe Creative Suite (Which includes photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, After Effects and InDesign) in creating designs.

Qualifications and skills:
• Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Media, Multimedia or associated fields.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Organisational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail
