Job Description


Mission/ Core purpose of the Job

 

This role will be responsible for the conception, testing and go-to-market execution of all new mobile money products. It will also monitor the performance of existing products and ensure they are continuously and consistently delivering the business objectives of the products

 

Main Job Functions:

 

  • Co- ordination/support of Mobile Money Product Development including User Acceptance testing and pilots.
  • Market scanning and updating management on new product innovations around the product and category.
  • Work closely with key product development teams in Marketing, IT, other OPCOs and MTN Group to ensure speed to market of all new products
  • Track performance of new and existing products and ensure they are performing in line with business objective
  • Conduct periodic competitor product analysis and recommend changes or improvements to MTN Mobile Money Services, products and ecosystem
  • Capture all customer feedback and complaints with the view to progressively develop solutions that address customer queries
  • Work with key partners and vendors to deliver cost effective solutions
  • Communication to external clients on business developments.

Job Requirements (Education, Experience and Competencies)

 

Education:

  • University Degree

 

Experience:

  • 2 years’ Experience working & clear understanding of sales support requirements of FMCG companies.

  • Marketing / Sales courses

 

Knowledge

  • Good Knowledge of mobile money transfer products
  • Project Management and Multi-tasking
