Job Description
KCB Bank is hiring a Database Administrator with the following duties and responsibilities;
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor health and performance of databases under supervision of DBA.
- Assist in executing maintenance activities (e.g., indexing, patching).
- Support user account management and respond to access-related issues.
- Track and escalate database anomalies and alerts.
- Maintain detailed documentation, backup logs and compliance records
MINIMUM POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Academic & Professional

Education
Bachelors Degree Bachelor Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field Required
Professional Qualifications ITIL Foundation, DB Fundamentals (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL)

Masters Degree MSC (Technology or Business) Added Advantage
- Experience
Minimum No of 2 Years Experience in IT operations or support roles (databases, scripts, or system admin)
