JOB DETAILS:

Makerere University Directorate of Human Resources invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for positions at the University. Applicants should not exceed 50 years of age

Duties/Responsibilities

• Ensure that dental equipment is running smoothly.
• Handle technical faults regarding dental equipment.
• Give user support for all dental equipment.
• Responsible for checking and installing all machine parts as required.
• In charge of maintenance/servicing of dental equipment.
• Keep an inventory of all equipment.
• Liaise with external suppliers for the repair of equipment under warranty or maintenance

Qualifications

• A Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• A Certificate in Dental Equipment Engineering
• Knowledge about equipment and facilities
• A team player with good interpersonal relations
• Ability to communicate precisely and concisely
• Analytical skills
• Proficiency in using machines and computers
