The Chamber of Skilled Crafts (CSC) Koblenz is announcing the following vacancy:
Deputy Coordinator Uganda for TVET Partnership Project
CSC Koblenz is working within the German Cooperation and has more than 25 years of experience in international TVET projects. CSC Koblenz is recruiting as soon as possible a Deputy Project Coordinator Uganda. He/she will be contact person for public and private partners of CSC Koblenz. The employment is planned for 12 months or longer, depending on performance and availability of project funds.
The Deputy Project Coordinator Uganda will perform the following tasks:
• Facilitate regular contact and communication with partners Organize / head meetings with partners, prepare minutes.
• Plan, prepare and conduct TVET activities (e. g. trainings, workshops, study trips, exchange), prepare documentation / concepts and budget planning.
• Plan, prepare and organize delegations from Germany to Uganda and from Uganda to other countries. Financial / overall administration of the project.
• Observe and analyze the Ugandan TVET and private sector, prepare reports.
• Perform any other duties assigned.
Required qualifications, competences and experience:
• University degree or equivalent qualification in disciplines related to project activities (TVET. project management and related field of studies
• Fluency in oral and written English.
• Knowledge of the Ugandan TVET and/or Ugandan private sector
• Computer literate (MS Excel, MS Power point, MS Word).
• Very good communication skills, networking and organizing abilities.
• Ability to work in a structured way, under pressure and to respect deadlines.
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
Beneficial qualifications, competences and experience:
• At least 2 years work experience with international partners.
• Fluency in oral and written German will be a strong advantage, French desirable.
• Possession of a valid driving license (car) will be a strong advantage.
