Job Description
BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd launched on 25 April 2019 and attained its current status of a Tier II Credit institution following a successful background as the leading Microfinance services provider in Uganda. The Bank operates 32 Cl branches and 130 satellite offices covering 84 districts in Uganda targeting Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs. BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd promotes financial inclusion by extending financial services to unserved and underserved populations, especially women and youth as well as people living in poverty in rural areas. To enable us to serve our customers better, we are seeking to fill the following vacancy.
Job Title: Digital Transformation Supervisor
Reports to: Digital Transformation Manager
MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Develop and implement the operational governance systems, to achieve required efficiency, quality, and compliance with the bank standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and oversee the execution of a robust on-boarding and scale up process for BRAC’s Digital Products in compliance with set out regulatory guidelines.
- Monitor and take action to improve Digital financial services banking operational efficiency and effectiveness, and support functions to resolve issues, reviewing procedures, and automating processes to improve efficiency.
- Prepare and submit management and regulatory reports on all aspects of Digital Financial Supervision and support.
- Build capacity, manage and coach team members.
- Support project implementation as per BRAC Uganda Bank
Ltd.’s DFS strategy. - Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation to achieve the organizational goals of safeguarding policy.
- Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise in establishing a safe working environment.
- Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding
- policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
- Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, and encourage others to do so.
- Any other roles as may be assigned.
REQUIRED EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS
1. SPECIFIC EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
• The ideal candidate for the role should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in business related course e.g. Economics, Social Sciences, Business Administration, IT
2. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Good marketing and people management skills
- Computer skills
- Excellent report writing skills
- Analytical and having attention to detail
- Good presentation skills
- Must be familiar with Banking practices, policies and procedures
- Familiarity with project management implementations in
DFS related products/services.

5 years’ General banking experience inclusive of 2 years at supervisory level
