East-West Management Institute, lnc. ( EWMI ) invites applications by nationals of Uganda for the position of the Director of Financial Management and Activity with an upcoming five-year USAID/Uganda project. This is a long-term position and offer a generous benefits package. The assignment is expected to start on September 1, 2020.

Required qualifications
• Master’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in managing, increasing roles of responsibility, and extensive professional experience in finance, operation/ administration, logistics and/or human resource related matters for international development activities of similar scope and size with CSSA;
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing, increasing roles of responsibility, and extensive professional experience in finance, operation/administration, logistics and/ or human resource-related matters for international development activities of similar scope and size with CSSA;
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in in managing, increasing roles of responsibility, and extensive professional experience in finance, operation/ administration, logistics and/or human resource related matters for international development activities of similar scope and size with (SSA;
• Demonstrated supervisory experience;
• Familiarity with US Government financial reporting and compliance requirements;
• Experience in managing donor-funded grants of similar scope and size of CSSA;
• Experience in risk management and implementation of internal controls.
