Oxfam in Uganda is looking for competent persons to join our dynamic, innovative and committed team in the following position
EFSVL Assistant – Imvepii .
The primary responsibility for this position is implementation of EFSVL interventions which include but not limited to Agriculture support (crop and livestock), Business and entrepreneurial skills, Market-oriented IGAs, Cash transfer programming, vocational skills training, Business skills training, Formation and organization of livelihoods associations and VSLA. The incumbent plays a key role in the field with community mobilization, community stakeholders, beneficiaries, trainings, monitoring of and support to field activities and documentation.
This position will require a range of skills and experience including; Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, economics, business development, forestry or other relevant discipline. A minimum of two years’ experience working with agricultural development, IGAs, market and business development, vocational skills training, and cash based interventions. Previous exposure and experience in environmentally friendly and energy saving technologies for agriculture and income generating activities. Excellent communication skills and ability to write good reports. Previous experience with other local and international NGOs. Knowledge of local languages..
