JOB DETAILS:

Our client, Horyal Investments Holding Company Ltd has commenced the process to operationalize á leading new sugar factory at AtiakUganda ,East Africa. The Factory, jointly owned by the Government of Republic of Uganda ,with annual production capacity(APC). 60,000 Tonnes of granular sugar seeks to recruit competent persons for the following position.
Job Title: Engineering Assistant, Weighbridge
Reports to: Mill Engineer

Purpose:

To assist the Mill Engineer with the proper functioning and operation of the mechanical engineering plant for the production process throughout the shift. .

Duties and Responsibilities:

• In-depth knowledge in mill operation welding,
• Fitting and rigging use and application of lubricants
• Mechanical maintenance procedures
• Dismantling, overhauling and assembling of machines
• Good analytical and quick fault detection skills
• Good supervisory skills
• Good training and teaching skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Report writing skills.

Specific knowledge & Skills:

• Basic management and supervisory skills, effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
• Numerically literate, comfortable working with numbers, making sense of metrics and processing figures with spreadsheets
• Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
• Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (Google analytics, Netlnsight, Omniture, Web trends)
• Proven experience in identifying target audiences and in creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
• Demonstrate experience in marketing together with the potential and attitude required for learn

Qualifications

• An advanced diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent from a reputable institution.
• A certificate in basic supervisory management is an added advantage.

Experience:

• A minimum of five (5) years hands on experience as a mechanical technician or fitter machinist on the factory floor
Age: 30-45 Years

Job Education: diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Job Experience: 5 years

Work Hours: 8
