Readysprout Uganda limited was established in July 2019 with the main objective to enhance coffee growing and value addition among youth farmers for a sustainable and improved livelihood. The company operates in Akuriluba village, Ayami Subcounty (formerly Aromo Sub County) in Lira district. The company is desirous on recruiting a Farm Manager who will drive its day to day activities towards achieving the stated objective.

Title of position: FARM MANAGER
Reports to: Direct report to the company directors
Position type: Full Time
Pay range: Stipend (while on probation)
Location: AROMO, LIRA DISTRICT

Description of responsibilities:
1. Planning, supervising, and sometimes participating in the planting, fertilization, and harvesting process.
2. Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation of project activities as agreed with development partners
3. Coordination of new and existing development partnerships and ensuring smooth execution of any contractual obligations with such development partners
4. Budgeting and maintaining accurate financial records
5. Handling paper work and keeping administrative records
6. Developing work plans for the business and ensure timely execution
7. Recruit and supervise support staff.
8. Supervise company contractors and suppliers to ensure quality service delivery
9. Be responsible for handling the purchase of farm equipment and agricultural products
10. Any other duties as shall be determined by the directors from time to time

Required experience: no experience required
Required skills:
1. Good written and spoken English
2. Knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel and power point

2. Must know how to speak the local language (luo)
3. Must be a person with high level of reasoning and sound moral character
4. Must be able to work with minimum supervision

Education requirements;
1. Must be a holder of a diploma in business administration or agribusiness acquired from a reputable university in Uganda. Fresh graduates (between 2019-2021, and should not be beyond 30 years of age) shall have an added advantage
