Job Description


Habitation for Empowerment Network is a consortium of indigenous, non-profit and Non-Government Organizations working towards the social and economic development of adolescents and vulnerable persons in less fortunate and under-served communities. We are focused on rejuvenating the lives of people through empowerment programs with an emphasis on Education, Health, Mentorship, Mindset Change, Leadership and Entrepreneurship skills development. We seek to increase resources and create platforms for adolescents, youth, girls and women to access and exchange information and opportunities.

Position Description
We are searching for 10 field officers to support us with our current programs, to steer, supervise and organize workshops for the new programs. He/she will be able to handle beneficiaries’ complaints, making appointments and completing office administration work. The ideal candidate will be someone who is organized and detail-oriented, negotiate effectively, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Field Officers Duties and Responsibilities
• Identification and registering of stakeholders through creating rapport for future partnerships and networking
• Creating partnerships with different stakeholders as well as maintaining, managing and developing excellent relationship building abilities.
• Hold meetings with relevant stakeholders in their different capacities and conducting project/program discussions on behalf of the organization
• Mobilization of participants for the different organization programs
• Organizing of events, meetings, trainings and workshops, etc for the program assigned
• Managing the day-to-day operations, prepare correspondence and reports for the project
• Assist in strategic growth, business development, research, etc to discover new trends within the community
• Development of information and content for organization social media platforms after the project/program activities
• Carries out such additional duties and obligations as may be assigned by the Program Manager

Required skills and experience
• A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University
• A Diploma from a recognized Institution
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to make rapport
• Negotiate effectively, excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Progressively responsible experience with administrative tasks
• Experience in working in a computer environment using multiple office software packages.
• Experience in working with teams is an advantage.
• Work experience in administrative support of development program/project is an advantage.
