Responsibilities or duties,

• Participating in the checking and cleaning of fire appliances & equipment in ensuring their readiness for use at all times.
• Recording all operational related activities in the occurrence book.
• Participating in firefighting and rescuing operations.
• Regularly checking and testing of fire hydrants.
• Ensuring compliance to the standard operating procedures while on duty.
• Participating in the checking and cleaning of factory fire extinguisher and other fire equipment
• Ensuring total compliance to the company safety, health and environmental policy to avoid work related accidents.
• Performing any other duties as may be assigned to you by the line manager from time to time.

Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills),

Applicants should be holders of minimum of Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE), a valid driving permit is of an added advantage and MUST have passed Chemistry and Physics.

Experience needed,

Applicants should have a minimum of two (2) years related experience.
