Job Description
Sugar Corporation of Uganda Limited is part of Mehta Group of Companies and one of the leading producers of Lugazi Sugar in the Country. It’s located at 45kms on Kampala – Jinja Highway, just within the vicinity of Lugazi Municipal Council, Buikwe District. We are seeking to recruit suitably qualified persons to fill the following positions.
26 MW Co-Generation Project with 150 TPH, 87 Bar Boiler – Requirement of Manpower .

Position: Forman Overhead Line

Qualification: Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Relevant Experience: 7-10years & minimum 3 years’ experience as Supervisor
Experience in:
• Be conversant with the Medium voltage network up to 33KV.
• Be in position to analyze and rectify electrical faults overhead line networks
• Have knowledge of 11KV & 33KV Switch gears
• Should have the ability to climb on concrete and wooden poles.
• Should have knowledge of switchyard operation.
