JOB DETAILS:
Responsible for reporting monthly on and ensuring progress toward the following indicators:
# of Girls and Boys 10-24 with Girls Center (GC) memberships
# of non-member session participants at the centers
# of certificates given for Girls Center training course completion
Number of girls taking on leadership positions as a result of Girl Center input
Percentage (%) of Girls Center participants who practice healthy preventive behaviors
Number of youth starting Girls clubs/activities/IGAs in their schools or community or implementing.

Work with PM to identify partners in each sector and link them to GCs. Build Girls Center Steering Committee (GCSC) capacity to negotiate in-kind partnerships. Review needs to identify how Girls Centers are documenting progress toward goals and adjusting partnerships based on measureable, observable results. Organize periodic feedback meetings with GCSC and partners to identify areas of weaknesses to address them. Witness Girls Centers renew Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) based on measureable, observable results and clear communication.
Identify where partners and tools can be adapted to fill GC needs—like increasing the number of young women who have hireable skills to take on leadership positions. Link partners to activities that provide girls opportunities to learn and practice new skills, building their resilience through positive attitudes about learning and adapting. Document stories of change among the girls. Visit GCs to validate MSA deliverables and GCPTTs at least one time per month. Include validation reports with your monthly report
Conduct monitoring visits every month to verify Girls Center Performance Tracking Tool (GCPTT) data and document progress toward goals. Support linkages between coops and GCs to leverage benefits for all stakeholders.
Adhere to HPU reporting requirements by submitting your monthly reports, travel requests, accountability including your timesheet- on time. Document what has been tried, what works, what doesn’t, lessons learned and recommendations to improve project impact. Constantly look for opportunities to build staff and stakeholder capacity, sharing what you know, and document those efforts in your reports. Conduct monitoring visits to include GCPTT data validation as part of your monthly report.
Train stakeholders to focus on, emphasize and ensure that all stakeholders who work with GCs—invest in-kind or financially.
Coordinate efforts with accountants and build trainer capacity and link trainers to skilled professionals to ensure high standards of financial management.
Build trainers capacity to facilitate providers to learn from one another, hold exchange learning visits between and among partners, increase awareness about GC activities. Make it easy for people to see benefits of GCs by having samples of GC results in the HPU office and by making sure samples are displayed in each GC (neonatal caps, products made and for sale, other IGA and VSLA results),
Turn in timely, accurate receipts for time spent and all expenses incurred.
On a monthly basis, supervise the office cleaner, check the office premises to ensure that the work done by the cleaner is of good quality. Manage the office equipment and ensure that they kept in good working condition. Order supplies as needed, tracking use and orders to replenish as you learn what is needed when.
Preparing meeting minutes, handouts for events. Maintain relevant, current information to keep Center partners informed. Support data collection for promotional campaign learning.
Provide cross-cutting support to the team including preparing meeting minutes, handouts for events Ex: meetings, training and sensitization.

Job Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree

Job Experience Requirements: 2 years
