Job Description
Jinja Regional Referral Hospital has received funding from USAID to implement the Government to Government project aimed implementing the concept of Regional Referral hospital as centers of excellence in HIV service delivery.
The specific outcomes expected are; improved availability and quality of HIV services, strengthened systems to improve sustainability, accountability and collaborating, learning and adapting throughout the life of the project to support its success and any follow- on programming.

Salary Scale: U2 SC
Duration: 1year contract renewable
Reports To: Hospital Director
Responsible for: All G2G Staff
QUALIFICATION:
• Must have an MBCHB from a recognized institution.
• Must be registered and licensed with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council.
• Must have Master’s degree in Public Health, Health services management, research ,epidemiology or any other related field.
• A minimum of 3 years working experience in Project management of HIV/AIDS/T.B.
• Experience in managing or coordinating USAID or donor funded projects will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of USAID PEPFAR work planning, budgeting and reporting will be an added advantage.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate the implementation of planned activities and interventions according to the work plan.
• Take lead in organizing quarterly review meetings for hospital project performance.
• Preparing and submitting reports to the Project Manager for onward transmission to top management and Partners.
• Update Top management and USAID on the progress of project milestones.
• Take stock of the challenges encountered by the implementing team and lead the generation of interventions
• Participate in periodic meetings with the implementing team to review progress of activities.
• Be a minute secretary to the Project Coordinating Committee
• Prepare performance reports in line with USAID reporting systems.
• Directly supervise staff under G2G Project.
• Account for Project resources.
• And any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
