dfcu Bank invites young and vibrant University Graduates not exceeding two years post-graduation with a minimum of an upper second-class degree or its equivalent from recognised universities across the globe for its 2025 Graduate Trainee Program.

About the dfcu Graduate Trainee Program

The dfcu Bank Graduate Trainee Program is a structured two-year Program that provides participants with hands-on experience across various departments within the Bank. The program is designed to develop a team of talented individuals who are passionate about changing lives and businesses in Uganda.

The Program allows young graduates to gain firsthand experience working on core Banking operations and projects, solve real-world problems, build life skills working alongside industry experts and clients in Uganda’s public and private sectors in our specialized sectors, build lasting relationships, training, mentoring, and career guidance opportunities through which you will discover your passion. Throughout the program, you will acquire the skills for immediate success, as well as future-proof skills required as our industry and your career evolve.

election: You will go through a series of selection steps in which the bank will be looking for the best fit for the program.

Location: Head Office with opportunities to rotate within our Branch network and different Business Units.

REQUIREMENTS/ ELIGIBILITY:

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Law, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Telecom Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Commerce, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Agriculture, Agribusiness, Human Resources and any other relevant degree.
• Maximum two (2) years post-graduation.
• Upper second degree or its equivalent from a recognized university.
• We are looking for team players with strong academic and extra-curricular achievements, proactive, organized, confident with excellent communication skills, results-oriented, agile multi-taskers, able to handle pressure, problem-solving minds with strong numeracy skills, awareness of current affairs and attention to detail.
