Our client, a leading financial institution in the microfinance sub-sector in Uganda, is seeking to fill the vacant positions below:
Job Title: Head Business Development Services
Reports to: Deputy Executive Director
Purpose:
• Provide Strategic Leadership and Direction of the Business Development Services’ Dept. Direct and manage the operational functions of all zonal offices across the country.
• Drive and coordinate the Business Growth & sustainability of the organisation by Sourcing Clients / Business, Resource Mobilization, Manage Relationships and offer Technical Assistance and Capacity Development

Qualifications and experience:
• Honors degree in any of the following fields; Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Commerce, Development Finance and Banking or any other related discipline from a recognized University / Institution.
• Master’s degree in Economics, Commerce, Micro Finance, Banking, Business Administration or any other related field from a recognized University / Institution.
• Possession of a Certificate Qualification in business development services, sales, marketing of products and services will be added advantage
• Possession of relevant professional qualification will be an added advantage specializing in Business Development. Sales and Marketing
• Ten (10) years of progressive working experience in business development services Credit Management or related field with at least 5 years of related work experience at the Manager level.
• Membership to a financial services sector will be an added advantage.
• Possession of relevant computer skills is a must
