Position: 3 Hub Production Operator
Reports To: Maintenance Engineer
Department: Operations – Grain & Nutrition
Location: Field-Based

Job Summary
The Hub Production Operator is responsible for overseeing and supporting mechanical, electrical, grain handling production operations, quality control and inventory control of product and stocks of the in-field Hubs.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Execute planned preventive maintenance of hub equipment’s
• Enforce EHS standards at the Hub
• Report and record all data that support production operation analysis
• Prepare of daily/weekly consumables and requirements
• Daily production planning and execution
• Meet GPL KPIs for grain handling and processing
• Manage of hub labour, equipment and facilities
• Monitor grain quality control
• Manage Inbound & Outbound stock control
• The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelors or Diploma in engineering related field with a Certificate in Mechanical and Electrical related Works. He or she must possess more than 3 years work experience in an industrial operations setting, however, possession of 1 year in a related field will be an added advantage.
• The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable in grain drying and shelling equipment handling and maintenance, equipment and facilities management as well as Competent in MS word and excel packages for data capturing and reporting. He or she must also possess technical skills in
• Accounting and Reconciliation, Grain handling and quality control, Production planning and organization, Risk Identification and Management
• In addition, ideal candidate must be possessing communication, planning, decision making, problem solving, negotiating, capacity management & utilization as well as analytical and innovative skills. span itemprop=”responsibilities” content=””Duties and Responsibilities
