Federation of Uganda Employers on behalf of its Client a faith based NGO is recruiting a suitable candidate to fill the position of Human Resource Manager.
JOB TITLE: Human Resource Manager.
REPORTS TO: East African Regional Director.
JOB LOCATION: Gulu.

JOB PURPOSE:
To lead the strategic function of human resource (HR) management and support the East African Ministries’ mission and goals through effectively aligned Human Resource/Organization Development strategy, policy, procedures, systems and bring about organizational effectiveness and positive changes through appropriate organization and human resource development interventions.

Key Performance Areas:
• Provide leadership in the development, promotion and implementation of Human Resource (HR) strategy and policy that guides staff behavior, conduct, and commitment to achieve organization mission and objectives.
• Establish the Human Relation needs for the organization in consultation with the East African Regional Director & Senior Management
• Design, implement and manage salary classifications & compensations programs.
• Manage core performance management and feedback processes
• Provide apt advice and counsel line managers on talent management, performance management, conflict resolutions, and other area(s) of employment relations.

Required qualification and experience
• Bachelors’ degree with Masters’ degree/ or Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management/Organization Development
• A minimum of five years’ relevant work experience at senior level
• Strong management skills
• Experience with defining and presenting pipeline metrics and data.
• Working knowledge of Uganda labour laws and regulations.
