Job Description


We are looking for a skilled HR Manager who will recruit, support and develop talent through developing policies and managing procedures. You will be responsible for administrative tasks and you’ll contribute to making the company a better place to work. If you are passionate about HR and highly efficient and have knowledge of various HR functions, we would like to meet you, The role goal will be to provide excellent assistance and support to employees and managers.

Responsibilities;
• Overseeing and managing the recruitment, selection and on-boarding process (posting job adverts both internal and external, conducting interviews, carrying out reference checks, and on boarding new candidates).
• Responsible for all HR administration and associated documentation, including preparing and issuing contracts of employment and contract amendments
• Provide professional and discreet HR advice, guidance and support to managers and employees
• Manage the Company’s performance management process, assisting with the scheduling of probationary and appraisal meeting
• Spearhead the implementation of HR initiatives and policies.
• Draft contracts for staff, consultants, and volunteers, and support them in understanding the details therein.
• Track and maintain a leave database for staff. This includes time taken off or any other holiday.
• Follow up on medical insurance by advising employees on eligibility, verifying submissions, and notifying employees of approvals or changes.
• Compile HR data relating to payroll processing by recording new hires, transfers, terminations, changes in job classifications, salary increases, and other adjustments.
• Update the payroll information monthly, share with the finance team and share payslips with staff at the beginning of the next month.
• Record all human resources actions by completing forms, reports, and logs.
• Support staff members by providing official employment documents required by third parties e.g. banks and other financial institutions
• Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance and handle staff welfare.
• Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
• Handle exit administration, and ensure that staff exiting has handed over all required assets. Communicate to staff regarding existing staff.
• Attend monthly departmental and management meetings, providing updates on HR activities
• Any other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND CHARACTERISTICS
Essential
• BSc/BA in business administration, Human Resource Management or relevant field; further training will be a plus
• Proven experience in an HR Managerial/Supervisory position or other HR position
• Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
• Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
• Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
• Strong ethics and reliability

Desirable
• Interest in ICT systems and innovations
