Job Description


The jobholder will be responsible for squarely positioning HR as a strategic business driver and ensuring that employees perform to the best of their capabilities by creating and introducing a new engagement plan, onboarding essential platforms, implementing best practices, and supporting critical improvement initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Develop & Deliver the organization’s internal communication strategy, plan & calendar of activities to increase levels of employee Engagement
• Ensure effective, consistent coordination and implementation of HR business processes, functions and procedures and monitors HR projects and workflow
• Research & benchmarks on best practices on effective engagement tools
• Deliver end-to-end internal employee engagement plans and campaigns to inspire and engage employees.
• Support Organizational change by creating effective communication with collaboration with the communication department
• Provide input on the design of the employee surveys and support the internal communications efforts in communicating the results to key stakeholders in a timely fashion.
• Conduct on spot surveys, coordinate company-wide surveys, Analyse the data & trends.
• Identify and utilize tools designed to improve the relationship between provider and audience
• Conduct timely surveys for appropriate feedback and have one-on-one meetings.
• Develop and implement initiatives to promote Diversity and Inclusion
• Assist in the implementation of Talent Management policies and procedures
• Compile and monitor staff Talent Plans for the year
• Assist in the coordination talent acquisition process.
• Manage and Monitor the HCIS system to track employee’s probationary period and contract duration to ensure timely confirmation and contract renewals
• Sensitize staff on policy changes or general HC issues

Education Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or any Social Science Degree with Human Resources as a Subject.
• Postgraduate qualification in Human Resources is an added advantage.
• Training of trainer’s certificate is an added advantage.
• related job experience:
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in managing HR-related work in a busy corporate institution.
• Must have experience in handling Talent projects, i.e., succession, staff development programs.
• Must have experience in HR Systems i.e., Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) & E-learning
