Job Description


An international company has established a modern commercial pig farm in Uganda, including a large breeding herd, finishing unit and abattoir to produce up to 20,000 sides of pork per year for the local and regional market..

The HR Manager will be responsible for:
• Recruitment of new staff as and when required.
• Managing the induction all new staff into the company.
• Management of Health and Safety throughout the company
• Developing the annual training progamme for the company
• Develop training plans and programs in both English and local languages.
• Delivering training to staff in both English and local languages

• Maintaining the Staff Handbook
• Maintaining HR records
• Ensuring the company is compliant with all Ugandan labour/employment regulations
• Management of other associated relevant Human Resource issues.
• Manage community engagement programme

The successful candidate will be a graduate with a good general degree.
Strong literacy, numeracy and computer skills are essential.
Some prior strong relevant/related work experience is necessary.

The successful candidate will be based at the farm at Nakifuma.

A competitive performance related salary will be offered and will include a rent allowance and medical insurance.
