JESA/HR/PDN/04: INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN (02 VACANCIES)
Job Summary
Under direction, participates in performing a wide variety of skilled tasks including installation, repairs, troubleshooting, planning, modification, design, installation and calibration of instrumentation, electrical systems for plant and utilities and trains staff in the operation and maintenance of electrical and electronic instrumentation equipment.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
• High level troubleshooting of automation equipment like VFDs, flow meters, process controllers and PLCs
• Calibrate plant instruments.
• Carryout RCAs on automation failures.
• Guide planning on automation spares requirement and test equipment.
• Conduct instrumentation evaluation and troubleshooting for electrical, pneumatic, electronic as well as programmable logic control (PLC) systems.
• Conduct test related to functional performance on instrumentation as needed by facility changes.
• Ensure to commission instrumentation effective following with repair and replacement.
• Ensure conformance with environmental and safety requirements commensurate with executing required instrument maintenance or replacement activities.
• Maintain and update awareness of modifications to regulatory needs related to conduct of maintenance and construction of instrument.
QUALIFICATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Basic Qualification A Diploma in Electrical/Automation Engineering obtained from an internationally recognized institution.
Working Experience
A minimum of 2 years’ relevant working experience.
