Kakira Sugar Limited is a leading sugar manufacturing in Uganda. KSL boasts of 2 (two) sugar estates, one in Kakira Jinja and the other in Kayunga. We seek to recruit a dynamic and experienced and competent candidate to fill the
vacant position in the company.
Job Title: Insurance Officer.
Reverting to Insurance Manager; .

Duties:
Will be responsible for:
• identifying risks and exposures for potential insurance cover. _
• Coordinating and follow up with various departments to ensure that insurance requirements are taken care of.
• Coordinating with the Insurance Manager and Director on insurance matters.
• Ensuring that insurance documentation like proposal forms and claim forms are completed and submitted on time.
• Reviewing insurance documents to ensure they are in line with what is required by the Company.
• Liaising with insurance providers and intermediaries to ensure that the organization’s interests are taken care of.
• Following up on claims and eventual settlements.
• Preparing periodic reports on the insurance activities of the Company.

Qualifications:
Applicants should be graduates in insurance or graduate with post graduate qualifications in insurance.

Experience: An ideal candidate should have at least a minimum of 3 years in any insurance related field with good skills and able to work with minimum supervision.
