Job Description
• Support the implementation of a Compliance Program within TEPUG and associated assets in accordance with the Group norms.
• Presenting and promoting this Program and the dedicated organization to all operational and functional entities of TEPUG.
• Circulating the various internal rules and regulations adopted (once they have been transcribed into the relevant referential) or updated and ensuring their application.
• Support the performing and reporting activities required of Compliance Officers to the Fraud Risk Coordinators in accordance with the directives, “métier procedures” or recommendations, including the due diligence tasks that are required therein.
• Alert the COs of any violation of the rules and/or any incident of corruption that comes to his/her attention, and keeping the CO abreast of the status of the case.
• Analyze incidents of fraud (or fraud attempts) transmitted to him/her and, if relevant, defining, coordinating and structuring an action plan, ensuring follow-up with the help of the Division Integrity Officer and of the Branch Fraud Risk Coordinator as needed.
• Support the COs in alerting the Branch Fraud Risk Coordinator and any identified functions at branch or corporate level in certain incidents (or attempts) of fraud.
• Provide assistance to the different sectors of the entity on directives and procedures relating to the Programs.
• In coordination with the COs or Affiliate’s HR Division, promote training tools (including e-learning) and raising-awareness and training actions to the staff required by the Program, and monitoring performance indicators giving the participation levels within the TEPUG and associated projects (EACOP and Tilenga) in cooperation with dedicated COs.
• Support monitoring and reporting (e-register tool and dedicated share points) of the TEPUG actions to determine whether the local Program, the directives and norms are being followed properly.
• Help establish and maintain a secure and detailed archiving /document conservation system , particularly with respect to due diligence documentation, according to Group rules.
• In liaison with the CO Team, the local Legal Affairs Department and with external counsel as necessary, maintaining up to date information on the legal situation regarding Anti-Corruption laws, rules, and regulations in the country, and communicating this information to the CO.
• Reporting periodically on his/her activities to the CO, and annually to the MD; maintaining the necessary integrated reporting data (in required format) in order to accomplish these reporting requirements. Daily/weekly/monthly/Quarterly engagements with communities, tourism stakeholders, civil society and local authorities.
• He/she contributes to the protection and reputation of the Group by helping to ensure that it operates in accordance with anti-corruption laws and internal norms.

Context and environment

Candidate profile
• Bachelor’s Degree in LLB, Banking and any related fields
• At least 10 years in Legal and Compliance, Experience in Oil and Gas an added advantage
