JOB DETAILS:
Makerere University Directorate of Human Resources invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for positions at the University. Applicants should not exceed 50 years of age
Duties/Responsibilities
• Teaching, examining and grading students at both Graduate and Undergraduate level.
• Supervision research for Undergraduate and Graduate Students.
• Mentoring of Junior Staff.
• Conducting research and community outreach activities.
• Writing proposals for attracting funding to the Department.
• Perform any other official duties as assigned by the Head of Department
Qualifications
• PhD in Veterinary Medicine or Pharmaceutical Sciences
• MSC in Veterinary Medicine or Veterinary Preventive Medicine or Pharmaceutical Sciences
• Bachelor’s degree in Veterinary Medicine or Pharmaceutical Sciences
• Registered with Uganda Veterinary Board or related professional regulatory authority.
