JOB DETAILS:

Makerere University Directorate of Human Resources invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for positions at the University. Applicants should not exceed 50 years of age.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Prepare/Conduct Lectures, Seminars, Tutorials to Medical Students.
• Supervision of students in the Dental clinic.
• Supervision of Masters students, conduct research and other clinical services.
• Writing proposals for attracting funding to the Department
• Participating in other official duties as may be assigned by the Head of Department from time to time.

Qualifications

• A PhD or a Master’s degree in Clinical Sciences in any of the following academic disciplines from a recognized University: Oral and Maxillofacial
• Surgery, Restorative Dentistry, Orthodontics and Child Health Dentistry, or Public Health and Periodontology.
• Bachelor of Dental Surgery or its equivalent
