Primary function
• Carry out Procurement of Logistics services

Responsibilities
• Provide planning and analytical support to the Procurement Manager.
• Analyze and track the logistics contract performance.
• Assist Procurement Manager in preparation of procurement plan, correspondence, presentations and other reports.
• Working closely with the Logistics team and suppliers, to make sure the materials’ movement meets the requirement of end-users in the contract.
• Analyze potential and existing purchasing contracts and recommend modifications and implementation,
• Act as liaison between end-users and suppliers to re-negotiate changes in specifications and/or terms and conditions.
• Facilitate/coordinate meetings with contractors, end-users and suppliers.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Procurement, Logistics, Transportation or equivalent.
• At least 3-years related working experience.

Knowledge
• Knowledge of purchasing policies, methods and procedures and their use.
• Knowledge of the latest business purchasing management strategies, purchasing practices, purchasing philosophy, pricing strategies, and price and cost analysis.
• Knowledge of the transportation routes, bridges, and laws of customs.
• Understanding of the local laws and regulations in Oil and Gas.
