Job Description


To lead and coordinate strategic initiatives that enhance organizational health and performance. The Manager, Business will drive the design and execution of systems and processes, fundraising strategies, program assurance, and strategic reporting to support the Incubator’s mission and long-term sustainability.

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic plans aligned with the Incubator’s vision and goals, translate strategic objectives into actionable programs and initiatives and support the CE and leadership team in strategic decision-making through data-driven insights.
  • Design, optimize, and implement operational systems and processes to improve efficiency and service delivery. Ensure compliance with governance standards and risk management protocols and continuously assess and refine internal workflows for scalability and impact.
  • Ensure programs are aligned with strategic priorities and deliver measurable outcomes. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to co-create impactful interventions.
  • Identify and pursue funding opportunities from donors, development partners, and private sector stakeholders. Develop compelling proposals and manage donor relationships.
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships to enhance program delivery and resource mobilization. Represent the Incubator in stakeholder engagements and collaborative platforms. Negotiate and manage partnership agreements and deliverables.
  • Lead the development of performance dashboards, M&E frameworks, and impact reports and prepare and present strategic reports to the Board, Exco, and other governance bodies

Qualifications

  • First Degree in Business Commerce, Economics, Data and Statistics, Finace and Accounting
  • 3-4 years experience in managing projects to completion to achieve defined business objectives or metrics.
  • 5-7 years experience in influencing stakeholders at different levels across a multiple of disciplines to achieve shared outcomes, specifically within a financial services environment.
  • Able to provide due consideration to risks, rewards and the cost of control measures in evaluating business opportunities, process and system changes.
  • The ability to analyse business financial performance, business specific language,  business processes as well as competitor and external factors as it would apply to the people practices in the organisation. in order to support them effectively. .
  • knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Development as a critical business capability in the financial services sector and delivering positive impact.
