Manager, Strategy and Transactions (SaT)
The suitably qualified candidate should have a good understanding of Corporate Finance, Transaction Diligence or Strategy, able to manage and deliver corporate finance or strategy assignments working in teams across East Africa with work experience of 5 years with a corporate finance and transactions experience with a reputable firm.

Key Attributes and responsibilities
• Possess an excellent understanding of corporate finance, strategy and or transaction diligence issues and general issues and process.
• Stay abreast of general business and economic developments and apply their understanding of the client’s business and industry to identify issues affecting corporate finance transactions.
• Draft client advice on specific identified issues on corporate finance transactions.
• Confidently and authentically presents complex messages skilfully using a variety of media and methods that builds excellent relationships based on trust with clients.
• Creates a positive team environment, balancing team and individual initiativescontributing to a work environment that leads to high morale, productivity and open communication; facilitate conflict resolution; share information; and accept and provide constructive feedback.
• Provide guidance and support to assist staff in reaching their full po tential (e.g. willingly address questions, contribute constructive on-the-job feedback and training, conduct meaningful and timely performance reviews).

Academic qualifications/experience
• First-class or a Second-class Upper Bachelor’s Degree in Laws from a recognized university.
• A Post Graduate qualification in finance including CFA or a master’s degree in business related fields will be an added advantage
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English ( other languages are an added advantage).
• Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• At least 5 years’ experience in tax work
