Job Description
JOB ROLE/ PURPOSE:
Operate and supervise the applicable facility tools and Systems. Implement facility management programs aimed at ensuring the effective functioning of facilities and the provision of an efficient and safe working environment for URA employees.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1. Maintain URA facilities to ensure a conducive and safe working environment.
• Ensure optimized operation of the Facility System to support seamless facilities support services.
• Implement facility management programs.
• Ensure that core facility central services are monitored and reported on a regular basis.
• Provide support on facility refurbishment, renovations and maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment
Implement best practice processes to increase efficiency Facilities team efficiency and operational penetration
• Respond to user queries, complaints and incidents and provide feedback where the need arises.
Monitor and Evaluate, the maintenance and utilization of all URA facilities to optimize resource utilization
Optimize resource utilization by implementing cost-reduction initiatives and monitoring efficiency.
• Prepare quarterly maintenance reports on all URA facilities’
• Monitor operations of various utility service providers to ensure compliance with the agreed service level standards
• Track and monitor timely resolution of issues at all URA Facilities
• Provide required support to critical stakeholders like Security, PDU and Management.
Qualifications
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Essential Requirements
• A Diploma in engineering or related field.
• At least two (2) years’ experience in facilities management and maintenance
• Demonstrated experience in operating Building Maintenance Systems
Desirable Requirements
• Qualification in Project management.
• A registered/licensed member of engineering professional body
Knowledge
• Knowledge of building codes
• Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Knowledge of procurement laws and regulations
• Knowledge of CAD
• Knowledge of Building/Facility Maintenance Systems
