It provides both preventive and curative services including out-patient care, in-patient care, diagnostic radiological and laboratory services, minor surgeries, specialist nursing services, sports medicine and physiotherapy, optometry, ENT, dental, non-communicable diseases care, HIV care and pharmacy services. Key Duties and responsibilities
• Investigating and examining the eye and adnexa, and associated systemic factors, to detect, diagnose and appropriately manage disease
• Providing refractive and low vision care
• Conducting binocular vision assessment and contact lens fitting
• Managing the various aspects of optometric services and practices
• Promoting preventative measures to promote good ocular health
• Developing and maintaining eye care and awareness programs
• Conducting operational research

Person specification
s Qualifications
• A Bachelor of Science in Optometry or its equivalent from a recognized University/Institution.
• Must be registered with Allied Health Professional Council and holds a valid practicing license
• Experience: No previous working Experience is required.
