Job Description
Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University / Institution plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre.
Working Experience
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Under Secretary for performing the following duties:-
• Rendering Legal opinions on matters addressed to the Chairperson;
• Preparing presentations and speeches under the direction of the Chairperson;
• Carrying out Legal Research and preparing reports on the findings;
• Following up on the complaints and recommendations from the public referred to the Directorate by the Office of the Chairperson for management;
• Managing the Chairperson’s appointments, organising meetings and taking minutes during meetings;
• Coordinating official visits, appointments, travel and preparing activity reports;
• Supervising staff attached to the Office of the Chairperson;
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
